HUNI KUIN CULTURAL FESTIVAL

Its with great joy that we invite you to the third Huni Kuin Festival in Scandinavia!

 We will welcome many friends of the rainforest:

Txana Bané and Kathy Makuani, Siã ( the chief of Huni Kuin) Inkaburu (female spritual leader) Sia ( Inkaburus daughter) Paje Dua Buse (Wisdom keeper/Spritual doctor), Txana Nawa Iba ( Carrier of sacred prayers and healing songs) and some more that are still under progress to prepare their passports!

Many of us already had the previlige to meet representatives of the Huni Kuin tribe. But for those who still are longing to meet a intact indigenous culture
that is still walking on the earth the way tought by their ancestors in the spirit of joy and healing, this is a great opportunity.

Huni Kuin tribes reside in the Acre region deep in the Amazonian rainforest all the way to Peru. It is one of the largest indigenous tribes of 17.000 humans.

Huni Kuin translated into English litterally means "The Real Humans"
Their culture is of deep connection to the forest and its mysteries. They work with traditional songs, tobacco, plant baths, beautiful artwork full of symbolism, Healing and much more.

During the festival we will experience deep healing ceremonies, learn songs and dances from the depths of the Amazon, facepainting with paint from their sacred lands and special protective symbols, weaving arts with Huni Kuin womens, healing herbal baths with their sacred plants and there will be Rapé circles and we will also build tools such as kuripé or tepé ( sacred tobaco aplicators)

We will meet human to human on the bridge of healing. This is a unique opportunity to meet indigenous cultures and meet the tracks of our ancestors.

This Festival is a coorporation with LIVING BRIDGE,

Living Bridge is an NPO (None profiteble organization) that is working as a bridge between the indigiones and western culture!

We welcome also families to this event, children can take part in special children program with experienced leaders,

doing crafts, face paints, play and swim in the lake and more.
